Books hold an extraordinary power in shaping and guiding our human journey. Within the pages of a well-crafted story or the wisdom of insightful narratives, we find not only knowledge but a profound connection to the human experience. Books have the ability to transport us to different realms, ignite our imaginations, and illuminate the paths of others who have walked before and beside us. They serve as mirrors reflecting our own struggles, dreams, and triumphs, fostering empathy and understanding. In the embrace of a compelling book, we encounter diverse perspectives, broaden our horizons, and embark on transformative journeys without leaving our physical space. Whether fiction or non-fiction, each book becomes a guidepost, offering solace, inspiration, and valuable lessons that weave seamlessly into the fabric of our lives. In the exchange of these literary treasures, we share not just books but pieces of our own stories, creating a collective tapestry that binds us together on this profound and ever-evolving human odyssey.

Chantelle, of The Nourished Woman, has intentionally chose March 25th, 2024 as the date, as it lands the full moon - making our gathering extra magical.  Alongside our intentional book exchange, we'll have a sigil-making activity, infusing intentions or affirmations into personalized symbols, and she will share a full moon water ritual she practices in her own home.

We will be gathering at Chantelle's home located in Fort Macleod, Alberta. The atmosphere will be set for relaxation, joy, and meaningful conversations as like-minded individuals. Come, unwind, and find solace in the company of those who share your passion for connection and personal growth.

On this night together you can expect:

Receiving a Gifted Book

Refreshment Sharing

Sigil-Making Workshop

Full Moon Water Ritual Share

Book Reflections + Shares

Connection and Community

Hand blended tea by Horizon Herbs and coffee will be provided as well.

Please Bring

This event is a free in a sense to the community, as there is no admission fee. However, in the spirit of exchange, we kindly ask each participant to bring a wrapped book for our literary sharing and a small refreshment to contribute to the communal table. Let's celebrate the joy of giving and receiving.

+ The gifted book: Please bring a new or gently 'like new' used book. Kindly wrap it and attatch a note card, a love note if you will, explaining why you chose it, and have a quote or brief excerpt from the book ready to share in circle.

+ Please bring a small refreshment to the gathering. For allergen awareness, there will be provided place cards to list dish names and common allergens (gluten, dairy, nuts, etc.). Bonus points if it is at all inspired by your gifted book.

+ notebook or journal, a writing tool, any thing sacred or special you would like to have with you on a full moon evening

This is a relaxed evening, so please feel free to be cozy and casual. Hope to see you there!
